Description
This Request for Proposal (RFP) sources a Certified Systems Integration (CSI) and implementation services. This RFP Assumes that a Client has already acquired a Product suite or has a specific environment that requires SI and Implementation Services.
The Procurement strategy adopts a relational non-prescriptive appraoch where the RFP is designed to seek best Implementation Experience proposals from vendors allowing Vendors to be very innovative in their appraoch and proposals.
Risk reduction and employment of best practices (client and vendor) are evident in the Information (I), Mandatory (M) and Rated (R) requirements under the following RFP sections:

Procurement Strategy – defines the scope , parameters and procurement process

Deliverables or Statement of work – The Deliverables for the Certified Systems Integrator (CSI). It is recognized that in some cases the Client has a cquired a COTS product, conducted a design and requires the CSI servcies. The CSI is expected to lead the Implementation into the target environment with subject matter experts support provided by the software publisher.

Statement of Requirements – The is a vendor response workbook designed to gather specific information from the vendor that are then evaluated.
- CSI History, capabilities and experience in conducting designs, confifigurations, tailoring and customization with specific product suite;
- Certified System Integrator Requirements to evaluate their capability and capacity to perform the work;
- Quality and Methdology

Financials – Details ceiling prices on the services required from this RFP.
This RFP allows you to manage your exisiting relationships and the CSI relationships within a three – way governance model. Also, the RFP contains flexibility to adjust the scope of work you can keep in-house and that you can allocate to the SI ( Business process alignment, change management, project management, etc.)
